When Naresh Agarwal of the Samajwadi Party hurled abuses at Hindu deities during a discussion in the Rajya Sabha, those who came to his vehement defence were the usual suspects, members of the Congress and the Communist cabal. They continued to defend Agarwal and tried to deflect and dilute the gravity of the issue by bringing up some other arguments. These two parties have always played around with the sentiments of the majority community in this country, have held hostage the minorities and their aspirations and have taken for granted the Hindus, while standing by anti-India elements. Read This – Say no to plastics! Their earlier support to elements who called for India’s dismemberment, when the most despicable posters were circulated denigrating Hindu deities in the JNU campus, needs continuous reiteration since these reveal the actual face of these parties, faces which sway with separatists and with those who, from within India, work to destabilise the country. Read This – Reinvent India’s trade pattern CPI-M general secretary Sitaram Yechury who has completely ingratiated himself with the Congress ‘High Command’ in order to survive politically within his own party to thus renew his term in the Upper House, has been trying to define ‘Bharat Mata’ and quoting out of context Hindu scriptures and sages conveniently obfuscating the fact that he and his party have throughout, ever since its founding, always sided with and spoken for those who have actually worked against the very vision of Bharat Mata. Comrade Yechury, while speaking in the Rajya Sabha last Wednesday, took pains to try and prove that India has become a violent place, ironically citing from the New York Times, a symbol of capitalism and of American imperialism! Yechury spoke of Nazism, of Hitler’s atrocities, of Mussolini but invariably failed to refer to Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot and of how inspired by these ‘stalwarts’, his party had turned West Bengal into an avant-garde gulag from an advanced industrial state – all in three decades of proletarian rule. There has always been something seriously wrong with these two parties, now increasingly coming into an embrace with the hope that the summer of 2019 will announce a new order in which they will once again become the centre of all wisdom and action. However, that is not to be – as these parties and their leaders clearly know but loathe accepting. Of late it is these two parties, Congress and the Communists, which continue to behave in a manner that compromises our national interest, and plays into the hands of the external powers that are trying to create internal unrest. The CPI-M, for example, clearly asks India to stay off and back off on the Dolam issue and promotes an editorial that reads more like a CPC handout rather than a well-articulated case in India’s support. Throughout the country it promotes a group of motley media hogging paid intellectuals who keep whining on how India has deteriorated since the summer of 2014, slyly side tracking the fact that lynchings and mob violence had a hey day when the Congress was in power for a decade, when every year a quantum jump in incidents was witnessed. These intellectuals and their comrades keep mum on the fact that in the state of West Bengal where communists ruled for over three decades they practised the most violent kind of politics, victimising, bludgeoning, and eliminating political opponents by the hundreds, if not thousands. In essence what is it that the communists want, they want India to retreat and cede on the international front, they want to barter away her sovereignty and self-respect, they want to create and promote internal instability, to exacerbate fault lines and to try and prove to the world and to the global intelligentsia that India is a degenerate society in ferment. Congress, on the other hand, continues with its agenda of subterfuge. Its leaders, Rahul Gandhi with family in tow, meet the Chinese envoy, purportedly discusses national security but refuses to come clean on what actually transpired in the meeting. His sister, dishes out the ludicrous explanation that the tête-a-tête was a purely gastronomical exploration of China, courtesy the Chinese ambassador in India! The Congress continues to take a dubious stand on the Dolam standoff and like the communists, it is behaving as an extension of the CPC. It sullies the name of the Mahatma by nominating his grandson for the post of the Vice-President of the country, overlooking or deliberately ignoring the fact that the person’s heart had cried out in support and compassion for the terrorist Yakub Memon that had made him champion the terrorist’s cause, by appending his signature to a mercy petition calling for his pardon. Today, thus, the Congress and the communists have emerged as the poles for instability creators, like magnets they attract the most degenerate elements; consciously and deliberately they are weaving an insidious eco-system. When the summer of 2019 thus finally comes, such a subversive track record needs to be unfailingly recalled- the ordinary Indian is extremely receptive and patriotic, they know whom to take on and whom to reject.
