Shri Ram Bahadur Rai Ji is always a source of inspiration for many like me – his intellectual rigour, his relentless engagement with ideas and with the creation of new discourses and narratives, his encyclopaedic knowledge of modern Indian politics and polity and of the Constitution is always overwhelming. Have been fortunate to receive his unstinting appreciation and encouragement. Was delighted to felicitate him on his being conferred Padma Bhushan – a richly and rightly deserved recognition of a long and distinguished innings in the service of India and Indian thought.
