Amidst the blame game over violent clashes during a massive protest march by the BJP to the West Bengal Secretariat, BJP’s Anirban Ganguly addressed a press conference at party headquarters and slammed ‘TMC’s fascist mentality’. He said that such mindset is anti-constitutional. They cannot tolerate any democratic Opposition. Earlier, Suvendu Adhikari slammed the ruling TMC government in the state saying ‘if CM Mamata Banerjee wants to open fire on protestors, she’ll have to leave the CM chair.’ Notably, on Tuesday, police officers, BJP supporters and leaders were reportedly injured in the clashes on the roads around the Howrah Station during the party’s ‘Nabanna Chalo’ protest march against the alleged corrupt practices of the TMC government in West Bengal.
