Was happy to meet Bhante Dipankara Sumedha, Chairman, Buddhist Cultural Foundation. The discussion veered round to Babasaheb Ambedkar & Buddha Dhamma & Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s stellar role as President of Mahabodhi Society of India, Buddha-Ramayana in Southeast Asia etc. He expressed his deep appreciation of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s decision to confer classical language status to Pali & Pakrit. Shri Subroto Barua, President Buddha-Ambedkar Santiniketan Welfare Mission & Governing Board Member, MBSI also joined in.
