Offered obeisance at the 300 years old #KaliPuja at Janabari, Howrah, observed by Pandit Ramaprasad Bhattacharyya (Rama da), BJP karyakarta & activist, academic & a dear friend. It was a quintessential atmosphere that radiates the Hindu essence of Bengal! #JaiMaaKali

Spent a long & inspiring evening in Belur Math with Swami Suvirananda Ji, General Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission. Discussed a wide array of issues & also released a few rare monographs on Swami Vivekananda & Sri Ramakrishna. Was fortunate to receive his ashirvada & encouragement.  

Was happy to join from Kolkata, Sankara Institute of Philosophy & Culture, the live telecast of PM Shri Narendra Modi’s historic speech & his unveiling of the restored Samadhi of Poojya #AdiShankaracharya. To witness the irreversible rise of “Vishal Bharat” is deeply fulfilling.

Met High Commissioner of Bangladesh in India H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Imran. Discussed the current situation & issues faced by the Hindu community in Bangladesh and a number of other issues as well. Was a fruitful discussion, I look forward to a continuing interaction

Addressed a session on “How the World sees India” for BJP Tamil Nadu ’s statewide orientation meet being held in Trichy. PM Modi has indicated direction on a number of issues:global healthcare challenges,globalisation before others did. Well organised,enthusiastic participation.

Was happy to present a copy of: “Modi 2.0: A Resolve to Secure India” to Sh Balaji Srivastava, Director General Bureau of Police Research & Development, former CP, Delhi, former DGP, Puducherry & a distinguished police officer with a deep insight on security issues, governance reforms & policy research

Was a fruitful interaction, Agnimitra Paul and the dynamic group of BJP MLAs from West Bengal. A number of outreach & initiatives are needed to salvage the situation in the state & save its original founding idea as articulated by its founder Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee
